Meet Lynnette
Lynnette founded Lynnette Edmonds Consulting in 2013, building on a decade in recruitment and 12 years as a public relations consultant. Her consultancy has grown from helping individuals advance their careers to representing extraordinary talent, including Grace Tame (2021 Australian of the Year) and Rebecca Prince-Ruiz (Founder of Plastic Free July). Today, it offers full-service solutions in recruitment, HR consulting, and career coaching.
Lynnette’s career has been devoted to human capital. Previously, Lynnette served as Head of People at Edelman Australia for nearly nine years and co-founded PR People, a recruitment business that placed hundreds of candidates and supported dozens of industry leaders. A passionate advocate for purpose-driven work, she volunteers with organisations including Freedom for Humanity and Fitted for Work and is an active member of GWPR’s (Global Women in PR) Advocacy Committee.
She is a sought-after speaker on topics including employee engagement, recruitment trends, and staff retention, presenting at events like Mumbrella’s CommsCon, NSW HR Leadership Summit, Future of Work APAC, and Workplace Wellness Festival. Lynnette also mentors emerging professionals, helping them navigate and advance their careers.
Off the clock, Lynnette balances life as a mother of four with her love for the outdoors, whether paddleboarding, spinning at the gym, or hiking Sydney’s scenic trails.
